Mishawaka Wrestling would like to congratulate Jacob LaPlace and family on his commitment to continue his academic and wrestling careers at INDIANA TECH in Fort Wayne, Indiana. Jacob’s love for wrestling and his family is what has drawn him to the close and very decorated Indiana program. We look forward to watching you continue to grow into a better wrestler and an even greater man! We are also very lucky to keep you close to home; congratulations Jacob!

I appreciate all the support from my friends, coaches and especially my family! They have all made this process super easy and I can’t wait to win some national titles as a warrior.”
Jacob has been wrestling within the Mishawaka program for a number of years including Club, Middle School, and High School teams. He has been an Al Smith Tournament Champion, NIC Champion, State Qualifier, and placed as high as 4th in the IHSAA State Tournament during his Sophomore year. His Senior year should prove to be an exciting one to watch as he comes off a Grappler Fall Classic championship during pre-season wrestling!
